Die cut tools in a reorder context or standard products

We have just released new features for your Sales team to create “reorder configurations”. Indeed, it is now possible to make HIPE calculate a price for a custom packaging that has already been produced in the past.

The Sales representatives just needs to state that a diecut tool already exists and HIPE will reset tooling cost to zero.

Select one or several machines for ‘Cutting operation’ if there are several available in your manufacturing process.

Specify the layout count. Use ‘Add new layout’ button if several tools exist. You can always remove the layout if it’s no longer needed.

Our algorithm can still compare the scenarios with zero tools and the scenarios with a paying tool. In some cases, the scenarios with paid tools are still more relevant than the scenarios for which the tool cost is set to ZERO euros.

Force production scenario for an existing diecut tool

You can apply a forced scenario for existing diecut tool. When ‘Force production scenario with existing tool(s)’ is enabled the algorithm selects the layout scenario that matches the die cut layout tool the User has filled in. Our algorithm will take only scenarios with the layout(s) and machine(s) that were filled. In other words, even if the optimization is possible, this scenario will not be predicted.

Flexo plates in a reorder context or standard products

Now your sales team can indicate that flexo plate exists already for this product. Our algorithm will process that information and set the flexo plate costs to zero.

Set that flexo plate exists for decoration, varnish or both together, and specify the layout.
